Many Dayz offline mode (self hosted mod) players like myself have encountered a temporary issue with the current latest release of Dayz (Stable Update 1.01.150627 February 21, 2019) where the Dayz client will load up and crash.
Having tried everything to fix the crashing issue without success and waiting for over a month for a proper fix, i decided to attempt to downgrade to a previous stable version that works.
If you are experiencing the same crashing issues and are interested in downgrading, then carefully follow this guide: How to downgrade DayZ Standalone (steam).
I chose Dayz Stable v,1.0.150192 – January 17, 2019 which was was working perfectly.
Now you will need the offline self hosted mod originally from here: https://github.com/Arkensor/DayZCommunityOfflineMode
But don’t download their latest mod patch (v2.3) just yet because it scripted for the latest DayZ Stable client which may not work with the downgrade.
Here is the mod patch that was scripted for DayZ Stable v.1.0.150192 – January 17, 2019.
You may need to update your DayZ profile too.
Backup your DayZ profile files usually located at: X:\Users\MyName\Documents\DayZ
Then delete that DayZ folder so when you start up DayZ, it can write a new configuration profile because if you leave the latest profile there, DayZ might not respond to your keyboard, mouse or gamepad because a newer profile version may not be compatible with an older game build configuration, so that is why you would need to create a new profile build for the downgraded DayZ version while retaining your gamepad setup (if you use a gamepad).
After you start DayZ then tab out, force close the Dayz client and copy your profile file from your backup (yourprofile..dayz_preset_User.xml) to the new created folder.
Also, it may be wise to keep Steam from updating DayZ so start steam in offline mode and configure DayZ through steam not to update unless you choose.
Fighting Back (1982) Restored rare VHS film.
Punks beware. Philadelphia Italian shop owner John D’Angelo has had enough of the criminal violence and ravages out to make his neighborhood safe. He’s declaring his own personal war on crime and he doesn’t want your kind around here any more.
Regardless if just a “Made for TV” movie, it’s definitely a lost favorite that many have enjoyed long ago.
Was my pleasure to transfer and upload it.
This is the scene (from Season 1 Episode 1) that i believe had won it for the fans.
This cool film was uploaded to my youtube channel about a decade ago and is no longer available because youtube suspended my channel, claiming we threatened, harassed or bullied someone which is absolutely false.
We are strongly against any of that type of behavior online.
Anyways lets move forward in peace.
About this film:
In the 90’s on the Brooklyn streets, the ambition of 2 guys (Jimmy and Jon) is to live hanging out and survive by small scale crimes.
This is the law of gravity where sooner or later everything goes down.
Side note: My memory of hanging out in brooklyn in the early 90s ill never forget and this documentary/film being so realistic amazes me.
The acting is seems so natural with the tensions and realism to the point where you can feels yourself there again.
The whole docu/film took 12 days to shoot and production costs just under 40k.
Copy Note: Not available on any disks but maybe you could find a copy on VHS if your lucky.
Well, it’s here and strange as heck!
The online multiplayer Red Dead 2 seems to have a weird start.
I mean RDR2 single player feels very different to RDR2 online and totally different from RDR1 multiplayer which of course is one of the best multiplayer setups in a game to date.
The instances for online missions is ok i guess but i really don’t like being forced to join up with others to play a mission especially a mission one never has done before.
Worst yet, having to join up with some fellow gunslingers to progress through a mission for online unlocks, without the availability of solo play progression.
Where are the gang hideout gunfight plays like in the first RDR multiplayer?
I read online that they are there but none have triggered for me so far. Maybe i must progress further in the online missions. Not sure yet.
No private or passive free roam.
One may be unfortunate enough to stumble upon an online session filled with little kids yelling like retards going in an instant kill fest especially for new spawned players.
This of course ruins the whole gaming experience online.
Affordability has gone crazy.
Everything from single player to online costs 3 to 4 times as much and making money online. Not to mention one makes very little loot from various activities and it is tedious work. Many hour one will have to put in just to afford a new saddle.
This may be no mistake as it makes way for Rockstar’s micro-transactions like the GTA5 shark cards. Nice way to piss off many gamers again.
Is it too early to complain? Sure, it could be but like always i doubt any major overhaul of righteous updating will happen anytime.
Also, have fun spending 900 hours to reach level 50, which would be a pleasure if the online experience currently didn’t suck bad.
At least we have Read Dead Redemption 1 multiplayer (in HD 1080p or 4K) thanks to Xbox One X enhanced.
